JAPANESE CHIN CLUB ALLOCATION OF POINTS LIST

 

MAIN POINTS FOR THE YEAR

 

"Show Points are awarded to Exhibits at Championship Shows, where CC's are on offer for the Breed as follows;

 1st Place - 3 Points,  2nd Place - 2 Points,  3rd Place 1 Point 

Additional Show Points are awarded for an Exhibit who wins a CC - 2 Points, RCC - 1 Point and BOB -1 Point. However Exhibits who win Best Puppy, Best Junior or Best Veteran will not be awarded any Additional Points.

 

An Exhibit who wins a 1st Place in Open and goes on to win a CC and then BOB will be awarded a total of 6 pts towards the main Trophy for Top Dog or Bitch. Points won in the first class only, were points are won, will count towards this award.

Show Points are not awarded for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in Special Classes, Stakes or Good Citizen Classes. 

 

Exhibits entered into additional classes and who successfully win a 1st - 3 Points, 2nd - 2 Points  or a 3rd place  - 1 Point,  in those classes, will be awarded the Show Points won in that class. These points will then count towards a trophy relevant to the class where the points were won e.g. Puppy, Junior, Post Graduate etc. 

Exhibits owned in a Partnership where at least one Member of that Partnership is a fully paid up Member of the Japanese Chin Club UK, will qualify to be considered for a Trophy Award.

The last Championship Show of our qualifying year is LKA.

All Members will have two weeks following LKA in which they can express their concerns before the Show Points totals published on the Club’s webpage are declared to be fully accepted and finalised. These final totals will then appear in print in the forthcoming Year Book.

That said, Members should be aware that they can at any time, contact the Points Co Ordinator with any query or concerns they may have".

We ask members to keep a check on their points, and have two weeks in which to address any queries after the last championship show LKA before the points will be declared final and will go to print in the Year Book
