PD (8,2)
1. Davidson’s Tillasby Russian Infusion. Nice class headed by this smart pup of almost 10 mths. He presented a super balanced outline with neck of moderate length, short level back, ribcage extends well back, nice short loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Well constructed both front and rear, standing nice and straight in front on correct feet and firm hindquarters with good turn of stifle. Most delightful head and expression with moderate breadth to skull, short muzzle with good cushioning, the best of eyes, ears set on wide apart and excellent markings. Moving true with nice self carriage. Best Puppy Dog.
2. Flynn’s Linjato Issey Miyake. Another quality youngster but just turned 6 mths and therefore gave a little away to the older puppy who headed the class. This boy is also well balanced with moderate length of neck, short back, rib developing well for age, excellent couplings and good tail for both set and carriage. Attractive headpiece with nice breadth to skull which is rounded in front, wide open nostrils, good width to muzzle, nice cushioning and correct eye and ear. Soundly made all through with straight forelegs and nicely angulated hindquarters. Free, straight action. Just needs to gain a little more confidence but that will soon come.
3. Flynn’s Linjato Kanjirou

1. Wallhead’s Sleepyhollow Lester at Merida. This 16 mth boy was an easy winner in this class for me and was so good to go over. Well balanced with medium length of neck, firm topline, well ribbed back, short loin and tail set on nice and high, profusely feathered and of good carriage. Masculine headpiece with moderately broad skull, dark expressive eyes set well apart with desired white showing in the inner corners, ears of correct set and nicely cushioned muzzle. Pleasing construction all through, standing on correct hare feet and moving true with good self carriage. Just needs a little more time to fill out.
2. Farrugia’s Yama Touch of Class avec Cholas. 13 mth of completely different type to the winner but lots to like. He presents a compact outline with moderate length of neck, short level back, rib developing well, short loin and high set tail which he carries well. Moving nice and straight on the down and back and good reach in front but not quite the rear angles of winner. Dark, round eyes of correct set with desired white showing, ears set wide apart, wide open nostrils and very nice markings. Quality coat and very well handled.
3. Banks’ Damheadbrigg Kazuki of Choya

1. Farmer’s Sangria Midorchi Motivation. A well filled class but this 20 mth boy won with some room to spare. Nicely balanced with desired elegance of the breed, neck of good length, firm level topline, ribcage extends well back, short loin and high set tail with excellent feathering. Most attractive head with good markings, moderate breadth to skull, short muzzle of good width with excellent cushioning, dark round eyes with look of astonishment, ears set wide apart and super pigmentation. Well made fore and aft, standing straight in front on correct hare feet and nicely angulated hindquarters. Moving true and using himself to advantage. Reserve Best Dog.
2. Farmer’s Sangria Pamojill Private Eye. This 19 mth old also appealed and was good to go over and another who pleased for overall type. Quality head with nice breadth to skull which is rounded in front, wide open nostrils, short muzzle with good cushioning and dark round eyes of correct set but with no white showing, ears set wide apart and very good markings. Nicely constructed all through and moving freely on the down and back but side gait and carriage could not quite match that of the winner. Correct hare feet.
3. George’s Sharlarna The Tempest at Amronchi
OD (9 Entries) Abs: 2
1. Pearce & Hann’s Rakuchin Kenji Na. Just approaching 3 yrs, this boy really did appeal and I thought him so good for overall type and balance. He is all male but just oozes the elegance desired in the breed. He presents a beautiful outline with neck of moderate length, short level back, excellent ribbing, short loin and high set, profusely feathered tail of good carriage. Quality head with moderately broad skull, the very best of eyes, ears set nice and wide apart, short muzzle of good width and nicely cushioned and wide open nostrils. Fine but strong bone, well made all through, standing nice and straight in front on correct hare feet and excellent rear angulation. Moving true on the down and back and stylish, self carriage on the go around. Excellent coat and presentation. Best Dog & BOB. Pleased to see him make the shortlist in what I thought was a very strong Group.
2. McLeod’s Dunline Oh What A Night ShCM. This 4 yr old is a similar stamp to the winner, scoring for balance and outline. Neck of medium length, short level topline with ribcage extending well back, excellent couplings and tail set on high and of good carriage. Nicely marked head with good breadth to skull, dark round eyes which are set well apart, wide open nostrils, ears set on correctly and well cushioned muzzle. Pleasing angles and moving soundly fore and aft and using himself as he goes but can stand a little untidy in front. Correct hare feet with excellent feathering.
3. Tong’s Sleepyhollow Rheingold
PB (13,5)
Class full of quality and the first four in particular made for some difficult decisions.
1. Banks’ Choya Sakurako. This 9 mth girl is a really super prospect. She presented a beautifully balanced outline with neck of medium length, short level back, ribcage extending well back and rib developing nicely for age, short couplings and high set tail of good carriage. First class construction, standing so well naturally and moving true on the down and back and with stylish carriage on the go around. I thought her head quite exquisite; nice breadth to skull which is rounded in front, dark expressive eyes of good set and with white showing in the inner corners, ears set wide apart and muzzle of good width with super cushioning. Best Puppy and thrilled to see her end the day by taking Puppy Group 3.
2. Oatridge’s Dalehouse Kimono. This 12 mth old is another lovely youngster. She is out of a smaller mould than the winner and feminine throughout. She presented a nice compact outline with neck of moderate length, short level back, pleasing rib and loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Most attractive head with very nice markings, short muzzle of good width, ears set well apart, wide open nostrils and nice cushioning. Well made and standing nice and straight in front and good turn of stifle. Moving true and with particularly good side gait and self carriage. Quality coat.
3. Flynn’s Linjato Mimiko
JB (7,2)
1. Crane’s Sleepyhollow Doris of Cranvarl. This was another very good class with a number of very nice youngsters present. The winner was this 13 mth old who was so good to go over. A ‘scopey’ girl with nice length of neck, firm topline, ribbed well back, short loin and high set, profusely feathered tail. Attractive head with nice breadth to skull, super eye with look of astonishment, ears set on wide apart, short muzzle with nice cushioning and good markings. She is nicely made throughout and moved out in profile using herself as she went. Good quality coat. Needs time to see the best of her but I still thought her worthy of Reserve Best Bitch today.
2. Curtis’ Aleemai Walk This Way. This 15 mth old was a completely different type to the winner but another who appealed. Compact in outline with moderate length of neck, firm topline, ribcage extending well back, short couplings and tail set on high which is carried correctly. Feminine headpiece with good eye and ear, short muzzle of good width and very nice cushioning, wide open nostrils and excellent markings. Well made both ends and coming into her own on the move, with stylish self carriage and nice and straight on the down and back.
3. Rooney & Green’s Swifthocks Paws For Thought
PGB (6,1)
1. Crane’s Cranvarl Le Mistrall. This 18 mth girl headed what was probably the most mixed class of the day for the variation present. Feminine and nicely balanced with good neck, short level back, rib developing well, good couplings and tail set on well. Pleasing head with nice breadth to skull, short muzzle of good width, nicely cushioned, dark eyes good for size and set but lacking desired white, ears set wide apart and good markings. Well constructed with good angles front and rear and moving well and with style. Correct hare feet.
2. Farrugia’s Yama Dolly Daydream with Cholas. Just over 12 mths, this girl was a similar stamp to the winner but front action could not match that of 1. Balanced, elegant girl of super type and the most appealing head and expression. Moderate breadth to skull, dark round eyes set far apart, wide open nostrils, excellent markings, ears set on correctly and nicely cushioned muzzle. She stands well naturally and moves well in profile and nice and firm going away.
3. Curtis’ Aleemai Walk This Way
OB (9,3)
1. Wallhead’s Choya Carolina. 2 yr old who presented a beautifully balanced outline and has the desired elegance of the breed. Feminine throughout with the most delightful head and expression; skull of moderate breadth and rounded in front, dark eyes of correct set, wide open nostrils, ears set wide apart, muzzle of good width and excellent cushioning and first class pigmentation. Super girl to go over given her sound construction, she stands well at all times and certainly didn’t disappoint on the move; true fore and aft and carrying herself with style and elevation. Good markings and quality coat of silky texture. Best Bitch.
2. Oatridge’s Dalehouse Iponema. This 19 mth girl is another quality exhibit, but quite different in type and build to the winner. She also presented a well balanced outline with neck of moderate length, firm topline, ribbed well back, short loin and tail set on high which is profusely feathered. Feminine headpiece with excellent eye with desired white showing, ears set wide apart, muzzle of good width and excellent cushioning, wide open nostrils and good markings. Moving well all through but not quite as free as the winner.
3. Paradise’s Shardlow Knickerboka Glory ShCM
