1. Benton-Taylor’s Sansarc Ashoken Farewell. 9 mth black/white with a lovely temperament and one who has lots to like. He pleased for type and is nicely balanced. Moderate length of neck, rib developing well, topline rises a tad but nothing untoward at this stage of his development, firm loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Attractive head and expression with rounded skull, dark eyes which are set well apart, feathered ears of correct set, well cushioned muzzle of good width and broad underjaw. He stands nice and straight in front with good breadth to chest and is firm behind with pleasing bend of stifle. Moving out well on the go around, true when going away and pretty good when coming towards. Good coat. Best Puppy Dog.

1. Blow & Allen’s Sheardream Eric. 14 mth black/white who pleased for size and outline. Rounded skull, moderately large eyes of good colour, showing white and well placed, correct ears, cushioned muzzle and broad underjaw. Neck of moderate length, firm topline, nice spring of rib although a tad longer in loin, well feathered tail of good set and carriage. Standing well in front on good feet and nice breadth to chest. Moving out with good extension in front, a little closer behind and good enough when coming at you. Profuse coat of silky texture. Another with a super temperament.

1. Cayton’s Sharlarna Imperial Comanda TAF. A somewhat varied class which saw this 19 mth red/white win with some room to spare. He is all male and I thought him an excellent type and nicely balanced with moderate length of neck, firm topline, excellent ribbing and profusely feathered tail set on high. Most attractive head with rounded skull, eyes good for size, colour and placement, well feathered ears of correct set, wide open nostrils, well cushioned muzzle of good breadth and wide underjaw. Nice width to chest, standing straight in front on good feet and firm hindquarters with good stifles. Moving out freely with lovely carriage. Good coat.
2. Farmer’s Salvador Dali by Sangria. 2 yr old black/white. This boy also pleased for overall type and is nicely balanced. Neck of medium length, correct topline, nicely sprung ribs which are carried well back and tail set on high and of good carriage. Quality head and expression with rounded skull, dark round eyes showing white and set well apart, well feathered ears of good set, cushioned muzzle of good breadth and lovely width to underjaw. Chest of good width but can stand a little untidy in front at times. Moves out so well in profile with good carriage, true when coming towards but a little closer when going away.
3. Reeves-Sargant & Diment’s Alstella Toffee Sundae

1. Westwick & Davidson’s Sharlarna Tyson. 5 yr old black/white who won on overall balance and was by far the best to go over in the class. He presented a nice outline with moderate length of neck, level topline, pleasing rib which extends well back, firm loin and high set plumed tail. Rounded skull, dark eyes placed well apart, ears of correct set, open nostrils and pretty good cushioning and underjaw. Elbows close to the body and correct hare feet. Moving out well in profile. Good coat.
2. Hampton, Vine & Strange’s Sleepyhollow Love Me Sibbai. 2 yr old black/white. Elegant and compact and of excellent type. Quality head with rounded skull, dark round eyes which are placed well apart, well feathered ears of correct set, short muzzle of good breadth and well cushioned, wide underjaw and open nostrils. Moving out well on the go around and true behind. Elbows could be held closer to the chest and disappointing rib. Good coat and presentation.
3. Gamble’s Ossidcla Shiro

1. Davidson’s Stepheter Constant Contact. 2 yr old black/white who I thought something special. He excels for type and presented a beautifully balanced outline with correct length of neck to carry the head proudly, firm straight back, super ribbing, short loin and feathered tail set on high and of correct carriage. Most delightful head and expression with excellent profile, dark round eyes set well apart and showing characteristic white in the inner corners, well cushioned muzzle of good width and broad underjaw. Good angles front and rear, standing straight in front on correct feet and with pleasing width of chest. Stylish movement with excellent carriage and true both fore and aft. Quality coat and presentation. CC & BOB and pleased to see he later made the group shortlist.
2. Farmer’s Ch Sangria Moon Walk. 3 yr old black/white who pushed the winner hard. He too is so good for type and pleasing to go over. Moderate length of neck, firm topline, nice spring or rib which is carried well back and tail good for both set and carriage. Quality head with most appealing expression; rounded skull, nice dark eyes, well feathered ears of correct set, open nostrils, short well-cushioned muzzle and broad underjaw. Nice layback of shoulder, elbows close to chest, straight forelegs and correct hare feet. Firm hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Moving true and with good extension on the go around. Profuse, silky coat. RCC.
3. Rooney & Green’s Littletigers Innuendo with Jaschin (Imp Ita) JW

1. Pearce & Hann’s Ch Rakuchin Kenji Na. 7 yr old black/white. One I have met before and he was an easy winner in this class for me. All male, yet retaining the vitally important elegance of the breed. He presents a compact outline with medium length of neck, short back with firm topline, excellent ribbing, short loin and plumed tail set on high. Rounded skull, dark expressive eyes, ears set on just right and well feathered, short muzzle of good width and well cushioned and broad underjaw. Soundly constructed all through and moving true. Quality coat; straight and of silky texture and presented in first class order. Best Veteran.
2. Doran’s Shardlow Mikado with Osakazuki. 7 yr old black/white. Cooby boy with moderate length of neck, short back but could be better in topline, fair rib and tail set on high and nicely plumed. Dark round eyes of good placement, well feathered ears of good set, open nostrils and well cushioned muzzle but slightly uneven lipline. He stands on correct hare feet and when settled he moved freely all through and extends well on the go around. Would like to see him carrying a tad more weight.

1. Doran’s Choya Takahiro with Osakazuki. 4 yr old black/white who is soundly constructed all through and moved out freely with good carriage. He is up to size and I felt that there is rather a lot of him throughout. Masculine head and expression with rounded skull, dark round eyes of good placement, feathered ears of good set, wide open nostrils, short well cushioned muzzle but would like to see a tad more breadth to underjaw. Neck of medium length, good topline, nice spring of rib which extends well back, firm loin and tail set on high. Nice straight forelegs and good feet. Well presented.

1. Steele’s Threadgold Starstruck. This was a lovely class and the first 3 all show great promise. My winner was this 7 mth black/white. Lovely sound pup who was quite delightful. She pleased for type and presented a compact outline with moderate length of neck, nice short back with firm topline, good length to ribcage, short loin and tail set on nice and high. Feminine headpiece with excellent eye for size and set and with white showing, ears of correct set, open nostrils, good width to muzzle and broad underjaw. Good angles front and rear, straight forelegs and standing on hare feet. Moving well all through and using herself at all times. Best Puppy.
2. Farmer’s Sharlarna Trinity. This 8 mth old black/white is another full of quality and an excellent type and so well made. Super head and expression with rounded skull, dark round eyes of good set and with white showing, well feathered ears which are correctly set, short muzzle of good width and well cushioned and underjaw of good breadth. Neck of medium length, firm topline, excellent ribbing for age, short loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Pleasing angulation throughout, standing straight in front on good feet and firm rear with no hint of weakness. Moving true and extend well on the go around. This girl just has a touch more length than the winner which is how I separated them today.
3. Quinn’s Sharlarna Eye Candy TAF

1. Calvert’s Jaschin Fendi with Somergemz. 9 mth black/white who won this class with some room to spare. A most promising youngster who I though such a good type. She scored in outline with neck of correct length to balance, short back with firm topline, ribbed well back and developing nicely for age, short loin and profusely feathered tail which is set on high. Attractive head with feminine expression; rounded skull, ears of correct set, super eyes for size and placement and showing characteristic white in the inner corners, cushioned muzzle and good underjaw. Nice width to chest and standing straight in front on good feet. She moves so well on the go around, is nice and true when going away but a tad wayward in front. Good coat and very well handled.
2. Cushing’s Spiritisle Angel Delight. This 8 mth old red/white is a completely different type to the winner and not quite as well balanced being a tad longer cast. Neck of moderate length, firm topline and rib ok but not that of 1. Plumed tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine headpiece with pleasing eye and showing desired white, ears set a little too high, open nostrils and pretty good cushioning and width to underjaw. Nicely angulated both front and rear and she moves well when viewed in profile with good self carriage.

1. Oatridge’s Sleepyhollow Peace Flower at Dalehouse. Two very different bitches challenged in this class with the winner being this 14 mth black/white. Soundly constructed girl who shows great potential and she was lovely to go over. She appealed for overall type and has a quality head with feminine expression; nicely rounded skull, dark round eyes of good placement and showing white, feathered ears of correct set, open nostrils, super muzzle and good breadth of underjaw. Angles just right, elbows close to the body, straight forelegs, hare feet and nice firm hindquarters. Moving freely with excellent carriage. A great character fully enjoying her day out. Best Junior.
2. Reeves-Sargant & Diment’s Sharlana Midnight at Alstella. 17 mth old black/white who is rather petite but I thought her a super type and she is another who is nicely constructed. Delightful head with rounded skull, excellent eye and ear, well cushioned muzzle and good underjaw. Medium length of neck, short back with level topline, rib ok but not that of winner, firm loin and tail set on nice and high. She has good breadth of chest and stands nice and straight on correct feet. Moving true and with good carriage. Quality coat. Well handled.
PGB (5,1)
1. Rooney & Green’s Jaschin Paws for Applause. I felt this was a rather mixed class. My winner was this lively 22 mth old black/white. She was pleasing to go over and presented a nice compact outline with neck of correct length to balance, short back with firm topline, good rib and high set tail of good carriage and profusely feathered. Feminine headpiece with rounded skull, lovely eye and ear, correct nose placement with open nostrils and well cushioned muzzle of good width and broad underjaw. She stands well naturally and has good feet. Moving out well in profile, true when coming towards but a tad closer when going away.
2. Cayton’s Sharlarna Temptress TAF. This 2 yr old black/white also has lots to commend her but differing in head type to the winner. She too presents a nicely balanced outline with moderate length of leg, short straight back, pleasing rib, firm loin and plumed tail set on high. Dark expressive eyes, ears of correct set, short muzzle of good width and nicely cushioned and pleasing breadth to underjaw. Chest of good width, elbows close to the body and standing well in front on correct hare feet but not quite the turn of stifle of winner. She moves freely all through and with good carriage. Profuse coat of silky texture.
3. Farrugia’s Cholas Miki
LB (3,1)
1. Cushing’s Aki Kaori of Spiritisle. Considering this was Limit I found this class somewhat disappointing. The winner was this 20 mth red/white. She pleased for outline with moderate length of neck, level topline, nice ribbing which extends well back, firm loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Feminine head with rounded skull, decent eye, good nose placement with open nostrils, correct pigmentation for colour and good width to underjaw. She stands on good feet but elbows could be closer to the body although this doesn’t affect her front action to any great degree and she moved out well on the go around. Pleasing coat.
2. Farrugia’s Cholas Lucy Locket. 3 yr old black/white who was somewhat excitable and therefore not making the best of herself. Pleasing head and expression with nicely rounded skull, dark round eyes of good placement, ears of correct set, open nostrils and good width to underjaw. Neck of medium length, short back with firm topline, ribs are well sprung and carried well back, short loin and tail set on high. She stands straight in front on good feet and has nice breadth to chest. Moving straight on the down and back but persisted in pacing. Profuse coat.
OB (5,0)
1. Rooney & Green’s Ch Jaschin First Edition. Quality class headed by three lovely bitches, all of whom were presented in first class order. The nod eventually went to this 2 yr old black/white. Elegance personified, she presented a super outline with moderate length of neck to balance, short straight topline, excellent ribbing, short loin and profusely feathered tail set on high and of correct carriage. Most attractive head with feminine expression; rounded skull, dark round eyes of good colour showing white to give the required look of astonishment, well feathered ears of correct set, nicely cushioned muzzle and wide underjaw. She has good width of chest, stands straight in front on correct hare feet and is firm behind with pleasing turn of stifle. Moves out so well in profile with good reach and excellent carriage which garnered her first place and also the CC.
2. Quinn’s Ch Harlouville Uptown Girl JW. This 3 yr old black/white was also a delight to judge. She is such a good type and presented the compact outline of the breed that I was looking for. Feminine all through with the most attractive head and expression; rounded skull of moderate breadth, dark eyes of good size which are placed well apart, well feathered ears, correct nose placement with open nostrils, well cushioned muzzle of good width, even lipline and broad underjaw. Correct length of neck to balance and carry the head proudly, short back, lovely rib, firm loin and high set tail which is profusely feathered. Pleasing angles front and rear, standing straight in front on good feet and nice and firm behind. Another who moves out well with stylish carriage and was so very well handled. RCC.
3. Davidson’s Ch Sharlarna Booty Call
