A nice entry awaited me , I was especially impressed with the number of youngsters who showed so much promise, and I am sure in time, they will trouble the best.

My one negative comment would be a small number who demonstrated incorrect front movement. The standard calls for ‘good reach and elevation when in motion ‘ in no way should the movement  be hackneyed with a exaggerated prancing, sometimes this may be due to insufficient width of chest preventing correct movement  nothing is more beautiful than a chin moving in profile; with free movement

I've heard it said ‘ things aren’t what they were’ in the past when it comes to quality, and yes, times have changed, and we no longer have the number of breeders, each with their own established lines, but we are where we are, and I can truthfully say that if my ticket winners hadn’t been present today, there were other contenders that I would have happily awarded a ticket to , that surely must bode well for the breed. I feel we are very lucky in chins that we are maintaining our numbers of entries compared to other breeds.

Finally, a plea to society -please give us Minor puppy classes , it’s the final opportunity to qualify for Crufts, and we all know that there is a vast difference when it comes to maturity between a six mth and chin that is nearly twelve months

2 MARTINS SHARLARNA TROUBLE MAKER -put down in immaculate condition , another who is eyecatching  of  such good type Well balanced of nice size, and nicely bodied  straight limbed .Good expresiion and attractive facial features Moved well around the ring , but felt he was slightly unsettled on the move

2 FLYNNS SHARLARNA EVOLUTION AT LINJATO- Loved this little dog he has a head and expression to die for. The sweetest of expressions yet still masculine. Nice size being compact and beautifully constructed, coat of correct texture really considered him for top honours Another lovely chin who I am sure will gain his title with ease

2 STEELES THREADGOLD STAR STRUCK JW -unlucky to meet 1- pretty bitch , square body cobby , good well held  head carriagewhich meant she  presented a nice profile .Moved positively with firm hindmovement

1 ROONEY& GREENS CH JASCHIN FIRST EDITION-this was my hardest decision of the day between these two kennel mates both have so much to offer .First Edition is very pretty bitch of a lovely size .Good broad skull  with the darkest of eyes exhibiting the correct expression and well set nose with correctly cushioned muzzle .Level topline and well bodied , she shows with poise and moves with free action  .Felt in the challenge that her front let her down RCC -a very worthy champion   

2 RONNEYS |& GREENS JASCHIN PAWS FOR APPLAUSE-pushed her kennel mate hard , I really was drawn to this bitch , lovely breed type I especially liked her broad skull with such clear markings .Beautifully cushioned muzzle .Good width of chest and well sprung rib .Level topline and gracefully head carriage , on the day was a bit more unsettled then 1 and didn’t have her ring presence .Should gain her title with ease , I really feel she could give her kennelmate a run for her money !
