Thank you to SKC for their kind invitation to judge at their show, and to those exhibitors who made the long, arduous journey; it was very much appreciated, as in these times, with fuel and accommodation being very expensive people are having to pull in their belts, I do take my hat off to our Scottish friends who make similar journeys down south on a regular basis.  Although the entry was small, quality was in abundance, and I had some very nice dogs to go over, but there were some dogs who would have benefited from a good bath and groom, this is also beauty pageant and when competing with the best, they need to look the part. Having said that the majority were beautifully clean and well presented. Last but not least  Thank You to Stephanie my very able steward who kept the ring running smoothly.

1st ROONEY & GREEN, Mr, Mr & Mrs S,J & A JASCHIN HOLD THAT THOUGHT
A lovely quality baby. Although a little overawed in a large hall with the sound of dogs barking reverberating throughout, he coped very well and was gradually coming around to the job in hand. This well-marked young man is a nice size, standing four square. Pretty well-marked head framed by well-placed ears with nice round dark eyes showing enough white to give that look of astonishment, good nose placement and open nostrils, good reach of neck flowing into well-laid shoulder placement, and level topline with a good tailset and carriage.  Straight front with sufficient depth of forechest for a young developing dog, with a good tail set and carriage.  Once settled moved well.

1st: 3918 MATCHES, Miss J Love Story Goscinska Przystan At Fochai Small R/W dog of well-balanced proportions.  Nice head and eye giving a lovely expression. Straight front, level topline and good hind quarters. Good tailset and carriage   Moved well around the ring.
2nd: 3930 SWANSTON, Mrs G M Pamojill Valentino. Nice shape & balance, broad round head with dark eyes. Moderate neck Unfortunately he was not enjoying his day out.

1st: CAYTON, Mr S Sharlarna Imperial Comanda

Eye-catching Sable boy with a nicely rounded head, wide blaze framed by small well set ears with plenty of feathering. Large dark eyes with small amount of white in the corners. Well placed nose with open nostrils. Good width of under jaw and well cushioned muzzle, without being overdone all giving a lovely expression.  Moderate length of neck, flowing into well laid shoulders and level topline, good ribcage and good width of chest. Straight front legs. Nicely angulated rear and correct tailset carrying his well plumed tail tightly over his back. Moved soundly and positively. His straight silky coat beautifully presented in top condition, and I was pleased to award him his first well deserved CC & owning the ring to take him to BOB. 
2nd:MARTIN, Ms P Sharlarna Trouble maker.  Another beautifully presented boy in excellent coat and condition. Nice size and well balanced. Lovely head with large dark eyes and sufficient white to give that look of astonishment.  Moved elegantly around the ring and pleased to award him the Res. CC
3rd: SWANSTON, Mrs G M Pamojill Pop Star

1st: 3912 LINDSAY, Miss L Ch Cranvarl Roger at Anjuli JW. Worthy R/W Champion of a lovely type. Nice expression with eyes showing just the right amount of white.  Short in back, with a good topline standing and on the move. Good tailset and carriage, and well-muscled hind quarters giving him good drive and moving well
2nd: 3933 WESTWICK/ DAVIDSON, Miss SJ & A Sharlarna Tyson. Shame to come up against 1 in this class.  I’ve judged this B/W boy before, who is beautifully made, sound in all departments and a good honest dog. Short in body with good width of chest and spring of rib. Level topline and good tailset and carriage. Well-muscled hindquarters and moved well

1st: 3920 MCFARLANE, Miss & Mrs L & J Myojo Morgan ShCM.  8-year-old who I have judged before, and still as lovely to go over. This young man belies his years with his exuberant nature, masculine head and large eyes showing the right amount of white in the corners. Well cushioned muzzle, giving a lovely expression. Nice length of neck and square compact body. Well-muscled hind quarters with good drive from behind as all do from this kennel.  Best Veteran.

1st: 3910 HARBRON, Miss S Jaschin Stop and Paws. Nicely marked boy of a good size, short coupled and well balanced with a good tailset.  Rounded head with a nice broad muzzle.  Moved and showed well.

1st: 3919 MCFARLANE, Miss & Mrs L & J Jesandakai koi no yokan.  Another 8 year old who doesn’t show his age.  Nice size and type. With a broad head and nice eye. Good body shape and topeline. Well muscled hind quarters and moving well.
2nd: 3921 MCFARLANE, Miss L Corrinwood Peter Piper JW. Elegant dog of a nice size, with correct head shape, nice eyes, and lovely expression. Level topline and good tail carriage. Firm hind quarters. Moved well. 

Class 1629 MPB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3913 LINDSAY, Miss L Jaschin Who'd Have Thought at Anjuli NAF.  Baby of just six months who strode into the ring with the look at me attitude and full of herself. Pretty baby with lovely open face, large eyes, short coupled body which is coming together nicely. Tail never stopped wagging.  Once settled she moved well enjoying her day.

1st: 3923 QUINN, Mrs T & Mr A Sharlarna Eye Candy.  Adorable B/W bitch with a beautiful expression. Lovely dark round eyes with a small amount of white in the corners. Good width of muzzle framed by well set ears and good feathering. Moderate length of neck, flowing into a level topline which she held standing and, on the move, good tailset which was carried tight over her back at all times. Straight front and nice hair feet. Well-muscled hindquarters and good turn of stifles enabling her to move around the ring with plenty of drive and verve. Her beautiful coat presented in excellent condition. Pushed hard for top honours. I’m sure she will have a bright future, and trouble the best.  Pleased to award her BPIB

1st: 3915 MARTIN, Ms P Sharlarna Bish bash bosh. Beautiful B/W bitch in lovely coat and condition.  Beautiful eyes, well set ears, well feathered framing her gentle feminine expression. Good length of neck leading into well laid-back shoulder placement and cobby body with good width in front and nice straight legs.  Good rear angulations. Lots to like about her.

2nd: 3932 WESTWICK/ DAVIDSON, Miss SJ & A Sharlarna Hiflying handbag.  Pretty girl, who unfortunately left her party frock at home, but has nothing to hide. Lovely head, large correct dark eyes.  Nicely made throughout. Stylish on the move, and once her coat comes back in, I am sure she will change places.
3rd: 3927 ROONEY & GREEN, Mr, Mr & Mrs S,J & A JASCHIN THOUGHTS THAT COUNT

1st: 3904 CAYTON, Mr S Sharlarna Temptress. Pleasing B/W with short cobby well balanced body shape. Moderate neck and level topline. Good tailset and carriage. Well angulated hind quarters enabling her to move with drive. Just left her party frock at home today, but nothing to hide and shows herself off to advantage.
2nd: 3917 MATCHES, Miss J I'm Melody Goscinska Przystan At Fochai CJW11 Nice size R/W bitch with a lovely length of coat.  Nice head and eyes and moderate length of neck, good tailset and carriage. Good rear angulations. Moved well.

1st: 3911 INSTONE, Miss Emily Mae Omikudzi Bohemia Lemon & White Bitch with the definite Wow factor.  She took my eye as soon as she walked in the ring, and I wasn’t disappointed going over her.  She has the prettiest of heads and expression, framed by beautiful long ear fringes,  large dark eyes showing the correct amount of white. Moderate length of neck flowing into well laid-back shoulders, lovely and a level topline. Lovely straight front and good width of chest and spring of rib. Good tail set and carriage. Well angulated hind quarters allowing this young lady to move gracefully around the ring. Adorned by the most beautiful long flowing, straight silky coat in excellent condition and a credit to her owner.  I was delighted to award her the CC gaining her the much coveted title of Champion.
2nd: 3925 ROONEY & GREEN, Mr, Mr & Mrs S,J & A JASCHIN PAWS FOR APPLAUSE  Very pretty B/W bitch with lovely eyes, and expression Compact and a lovely shape. Fine boned, elegant and dainty,  keeping a good level topline. Not showing herself off to advantage today.

1st: 3924 ROONEY & GREEN, Mr, Mr & Mrs S,J & A Ch JASCHIN FIRST EDITION B/W girl who is worthy of her title. Small and dainty, with everything in the right place. Beautiful head framing her  lovely head with open expression, good eyes with the correct white in the corners. Good front and rear angulations enabling her to move with style.  Unfortunately, another who had left her party frock at home, but none the less I was pleased to award her the Res. CC.
2nd: 3931 WESTWICK/ DAVIDSON, Miss SJ & A Hin Satori Charka S Medom At Sharlarna. Lightly marked R/W of a nice size, very pretty, with a lovely open face markings, nice round head framed by beautiful long ear fringes. Moderate length of neck and good shoulder placement. Level topline and good tail set and carriage. Lovely straight coat of good texture and beautiful condition. Nice rear angulations enabling her to move well. A good all round bitch.
