Super smart 8 year old boy who was clearly enjoying himself. A natural showman at one with his handler, he is beautifully balanced and moved freely around the ring with lovely reach and drive. He was in lovely coat and condition, and his coat is of the correct texture. Well set tail which he carried well at all times. He has an attractive head with plenty of fill. Pushed hard for attention in the challenge. BV

Another of nice size and neat confirmation. Well balanced overall. In good coat and condition, but not quite the movement of 1 today.

A lovely 6 month old puppy. Such a lot to like here. Well balanced, he stood 4 square whenever he stopped. Loved his reach of neck and lay of shoulder, he has a beautiful outline overall. Super head and expression with plenty of fill to his face, and he’s full of breed type. Coat has the correct texture. Pleased to award him BPD & BP

R&W dog pushed winner hard, he’s another nice puppy. Good neck and shoulders, good topline & tailset. Tail carried well. Pleasing head & epression. Moved well around the ring

Well balanced puppy with a pleasing head & expression. Full of fu he was clearly enjoying himself! Pleasing head & expression, good neck and shoulders, correct toplin and tailset. Correct hare feet. Not with his usual handler I understand, and was flying his feet on the move.

Another lovely example from this kennel who unfortunately didn’t like today’s windy conditions. He scores for breed type, has a lovely head and expression, and is an ideal size. Coat of correct texture. Moved well.

Surprised to find this boy in PG. A lovely make & shape with ideal neck and shoulders, good topline and tailset. Correct bone, neat hare feet, in good coat with that nice silky feel. Moved well and held tail correctly. A smart dog.

2ND      6292 - Cholas Yasu at Yama (Mrs S C Vincent)

Slightly heavier set than 1 but another of good type. Well made throughout with super hindquarters. A lovely head. Preferred eye and coat texture of 1 but another of quality.

Wow! What a beauty this boy is. He took my eye as soon as he entered the ring. The sun seemed to shine off him today – he looked a picture. He is an ideal size and was presented in beautiful coat and condition. Wonderful breed type, his coat is of a lovely silky texture. He has a beautiful head and expression, correct bone, neat hare feet. Well set tail which was carried well at all times. Moved well around the ring to win the class, and then continued to shine in the challenge where I was delighted to award him the DCC which I understand is his 2nd. His third must surely follow soon. I felt he just flagged a little in the challenge for BOB but he is a gorgeous little dog.

2ND      6262 - Salvador Dali by Sangria (Mr G W Farmer)

A similar type and size to 1, but not quite in the same coat and condition today. He is also from the top drawer and has a lovely head and expression, a lovely size and full of breed type. He also moved well and carried his tail correctly. Two nice males.

Close up to winner and similarly good breed type, she is well made with correct bone and a well set tail. Pleasing overall but felt her feet had been over trimmed

Stood alone here but a quality bitch who took my eye immediately. Really typey bitch with a lovely outline. Nicely angulated and with a lovely head carriage, she has a super shape and well set tail. She moved true out and back, and had an air of quality about her that couldn’t be ignored. Her head is feminine and has the correct proportions, and her expression has the desired look of astonishment. Good fill to foreface. A lot to like here she pushed hard in the challenge and I was pleased to award her the RCC. I understand it is not her first! Her time will come.

Very pretty bitch of good breed type, but she wasn’t in the mood today, Perhaps distracted by the strong wind she gave her owner a hard time and was generally unsettled, A shame as she is a pretty bitch who was in lovely coat. Hopefully other good days to come for her.

Another who I considered for top honours today. Full of breed type, she was in lovely coat and condition. Very well balanced throughout. She presents a pleasing picture standing and on the move, she moves well and true. She has a lovely topline and tailset and carries her tail well. Coat of a lovely texture, and she has a very pretty head. Good head proportions, and plenty of fill. I see she is from the same kennel as many of my principal winners today

– a clever breeder.

Headed a lovely class here. Beautiful typey bitch, she looked wonderful in today’s sunshine. A bitch in full bloom, she has a super coat of the correct texture. Such a pretty head and expression, she is nicely angulated and moves out well around the ring - stylish and with good reach. Very feminine head and expression, and her head has the correct proportions particularly when viewed in profile. Completely at one with her handler, I was delighted to award her the BCC and she continued to show well to take BOB.

2ND      6285 - Jaschin Paws for Applause (Mr S & Mr J & Mrs A Rooney & Green & Green)

Another with wonderful breed type, not quite the finish of 1 today. She also has a lovely make and shape, she has a feminine head and expression. Her head is also beautifully proportioned, again particularly good in profile. Good fill to foreface, and correct dark eye. Moved well around the ring with a good topline and tailset.
