Thank you to the committee for the invitation, and to the exhibitors who brought their dogs under me.  I thoroughly enjoyed my day and appreciated the sportsmanship exhibitors showed when placed.  In some classes I was spoilt for choice – the overall quality was excellent. My stewards Graham and Carol helped the ring run efficiently.

1ST      Cranvarl Roger at Anjuli (Miss L Lindsay) – Red and white 9 month old boy I’ve judged before.  Liked his dainty size, he is well made with moderate bone.  Correct silky coat texture, in good condition.  Tail high set and carried well at all times.  Shown to advantage.  Moderate neck and good shoulder.  BPD

2ND      Sharlarna Double Trouble at Ismirelle NAF TAF (Mrs M Emmerson) – Super 6 month old puppy at his first show. A shame there was no MP class as he lost out to 1 on maturity. Lovely attitude. Such an attractive head with large dark eyes. Correct tail set. Lovely bone. Well angulated hindquarters. Nicely bodied. Two very nice puppies.

1ST      Sharlarna Imperial Commander (Mr A W Davidson) – This young dog commanded attention with his ring prescence. He had a profuse long silky coat. He is a lovely shape and is well balanced. Good angulation throughout.  Shown in excellent condition. High set tail carried well at all times. Well sprung rib.  Correct amount of white in inner corner of eyes.  Pleasing head with large nostrils. Moved with style around the ring. A quality dog.

2ND      Sharlarna Starman (Mrs C E Partington-Palmer) – Black and white another quality boy who was unlucky to meet 1. Liked his type. He had plenty of coat of the correct texture.  Well set tail.  Good eyes and expression with the desired look of astonishment. Nicely marked. Preferred front of 1.

1ST      Sangria Salvador Dali (Mr G W Farmer) – 20 month old black and white caught my eye straightaway. Ideal size.  Beautiful head and expression.  Moderately large dark eye with the correct amount of white to give desired look of astonishment.  Not in full coat but coming in nicely.  Well set tail carried well at all times.  Correct feet.  Well marked. A smart boy.

2ND      Mitapip Gentleman Jack at Aldoricka (Mr D & Mrs D M Bailey) – Dainty boy slightly finer than1.  Scored in head and expression both of which were lovely.  Not quite the body or substance of 1 but a very sweet boy.

1ST      Stepheter Constant Contact (Mr A W Davidson) – Love the breed type this dog possesses. So glamorous and eye catching, he managed to stand out in what was a very strong class. Shown in superb condition. Lots of coat with that good silky feel. Neat harefeet. Correct lay of shoulder.  High tail set carried well at all times. Beautiful head with dark eyes set well apart with enough white to inner corners to give the desired look of astonishment. Not overdone in anyway. Moved with style around the ring. A quality boy. BD, BOB & delighted to see him shortlisted in the Group.

2ND      Ch. Sangria Moon Walk (Mr G W Farmer) – Another from the top drawer, and certainly pushed 1 hard.  Love the heads this exhibitor produces with moderately large eyes and the correct expression. Ideal make and shape. Moderate bone and neck. Well set tail. In good coat. Not quite the finish of 1 today but pleased to award him ResBD

1ST      Seafar Secret Liaison (Miss S H Harbron) – Black and white 2 year old.  Up to size but well made throughout.  Lovely temperament.  Good angulation and well set tail.  Nicely presented.  Handler showed him well.

1ST      Cranvarl's Macey Grey (Mrs  L Crane) – 10 month red and white liked her size make and shape.  Super outline.  Well laid shoulders.  Pleasing topline and tail set. Tail carried well at all times. Correct eyes and good expression.  Well marked.  Correct coat texture and in good condition.  A real showgirl who should do well. I see she is the litter sister to the BPD. Two lovely puppies.Today I felt the bitch had the better coat and finish  BPB & BPIB

2ND      Sharlarna Hiflying Handbag (Miss S J & Mr A W Westwick & Davidson) – Another quality baby. Flew her ears a bit today, but she is a lovely type, with a super head and expression stemming from moderately large round dark eyes. Correct look of astonishment. Moved with style around the ring. Another to watch.

1ST      Cholas Miki (Messrs N & J Farrugia) – Feminine girl.  Ideal size.  Lovely coat texture.  Large eyes showing white in corners.  Pleasing hare shaped feet.  Outgoing and confident though she didn’t particularly like the floor surface.

2ND      Sharlarna Temptress TAF (Mr S Cayton) – Unfortunately hated the floor. Scored highly in breed type.  Loved her head shape and expression but just wasn’t enjoying herself today.  Super coat texture. Moderately large eye.

2ND      Wyndcatch Constance (Mrs J D Smith) – Loved the size and type of this bitch. Scored highly for breed type. Such lovely coat. Moderate throughout and had a beautiful head with moderately large dark eyes with pleasing expression. Moved well. Was flagging in the challenge but had done enough to be awarded ResBest Bitch
