Many thanks to the committee of UKTD for inviting me to Judge at this prestigious show.I was delighted with the wonderful entry.I also would like to thank my most efficient & pleasant stewards Sharon & George .

Just too mention a couple of things , please don’t leave the ring before all placements are made & please inform the stewards if you intend to withdraw from subsequent classes.In both instances the people concerned would 

I feel have collected a further award. I do not like to see a dog put into place by using your feet & never pick up a chin by its tail or drag a puppy by the lead. I was surprised to find several chin with scissor or part scissor bites.

Most of the dogs were presented in top order, & obviously very much loved.

Size ,type, & overall quality varied ,I was looking for a compact well ribbed chin with a typical head & expression & sound movement .I am very pleased with my principle winners& especially the CC , RCC & BP. I was thrilled to see my overall BOB win Best in .Show .I had every confidence in him, he is the Best Chin I have ever Judged & I thought that our esteemed Group Judge Mrs Peak would appreciate his many virtues. Thank You .

Special Beginners Dog ( 4:2)

1 st Moss Ouzlewell’s Artful Dodger Of Delphlands

Enthusiastic compact typical dog who showed very well against strong opposition.well handled in in good condition.

2nd Tarabad’s Tillasby Nick’s in a Twist at Frondal.

Very nice youngster.Good head & expression compact & well ribbed with good depth of brisket.Well laid shoulder, level top line ,good turn of stifle. Refused to show himself off to his best advantage today giving his capable young handler such a frustrating time however his patience paid off & he placed a very respectable 2 nd in Junior.He will have better days I am sure.

1 Pearce / Hann Slo Ch Choya Kanji Na with Rakuchin ( Re Imp)

Very handsome bigger dog he has a good head & expression framed with long ears leathers. Well ribbed, has a real ring presence about him.Although stood alone he deserved the win & is ageing gracefully.

Minor Puppy Dog ( 6:1)

1st Banks Midwood Monaco Choya.Exciting Dog puppy .

I understand making his first appearance in the Uk. He has a lovely head with typical chin expression, well filled & developed .Compact , good ribbing & depth of chest.Developing a nice coat.Just right for his age at the moment needs to tighten up front & aft which cost him BP overall. BPD

2nd Hubble Dabrieves Silver Carrington. Different type, nevertheless a typical, pleasing head , nicely put together , moved well .Good size .Developing a good coat which should make him stand out even more . Liked him .

3 rd Gillhespey & Van BaarenGrob .Very nice puppy in a trio of quite evenly matched puppies for quality & type .Just needs to tighten up behind which cost him today but I am sure will firm up with maturity.Nice size & shape , pleasing head .Liked him .

1st Farrugia N & J Auralea Made In Wales for Amrionchi.

Very appealing puppy of correct size & shape. Lovely astonished expression.

Shown in good coat & condition.

2nd Thomas Javalcy The Great Mikado. Pretty puppy,good size & Shape.In gleaming condition presented well.Feel his time will come , he is much less mature in body & needs to tighten fore & aft .Liked him.

1st Choya Tadashi Very handsome Male built on slightly bigger lines that I prefer.

Nevertheless he caught my attention as soon as he walked in the ring .Presents a lovely profile , fluid on the move .Attractive Nicely framed ,cushioned head, round appealing dark eye with showing the correct amount of white without excess.Compact , of good proportions & angulation. Moves with style .Should have a bright future .

1st Famers Sangria Pamojill Private Eye. Dainty well proportioned b/w. Attractive typical head properties. Good outline standing, & moves very well.Think he must have a bright future.

2nd Westwick/Davidson Compact & cobby , level top line , well angulated.Stylish mover.Just preferred the head of my winner nice dog .

3 rd LeachDaniel Solchyni Angel

1st Schemel Chinart Yuunagi Attractive well framed head , cushioned muzzle , correct amount of white to give astonished expression.Cobby with good depth of chest, level topline ,good lay of shoulder & turn of stifle.Caught my eye coming into the ring .In the challenge he was unsettled & gave his owner a hard time , a pity as I considered him for the RCC.

2nd Hine Sleepyhollow Olaf. Dainty well proportioned with good turn of stifle.very likeable dog who moves briskly , & is well presented with a good coat.Again just preferred the head of my winner but nevertheless this is a very smart dog with much appeal.

1 Davidson’s. Omikudz Don Juan at Sharlana .Very attractive head , well framed with very dark eye correct expression.He is cobby with a good depth of brisket, level top line, correct angulation , nice size .Shown in excellent condition he is an eye catching deep red .All together a very decent Japanese Chin who should be very competitive in the coming season, Pleased to award him the RCC.

2 nd Cushing Kayseri Aki At Spiritisle Lighter sable of a very different type to my winner.Nevertheless he has a lot to recommend him being a nice size & shape with an appealing head.He moved & showed well unlucky to meet one in such sparkling form.Nice boy .

1st Allcock Littletigers Damage Case At Sleepyhollow. I could eulogise at length about this stunning dog, & write reams to say how close to the breed standard he is.

He is the best chin I have ever had the pleasure of Judging & there have been some very good ones. “Simply the Best “ .I had every confidence sending him through to the Group DCC BOB & delighted to say BIS

2nd Lindsay Sleepyhollow Baroque At Anjuli ShCM TAF.A lovely Dog Of the type I admire .Large well cushioned head , correct expression , delightful temperament ,

Cobby & well put together.Moves very stylishly, shown in good order. Like him a lot

3rd Pearce / Hann A worthy Champion, slightly different type but with all the attributes needed to reach Champion status it was very close between one and two and could really go either, way Very nice dog.

Ist Lindsay’s CH Sleepyhollow Saphire Diva At Anjuli. Lovely girl not showing any real sign of age.Worthy Champion, stormed around the ring showing some younger chin the way it is done.I would like her a little smaller & compact but could not deny her the class .In great coat & condition ,presented stylishly BV

2nd Pearce/Hann Choya Takara of Rakuchin Appealing head with good expression.Cobby & Compact presents a good outline standing & moves out well . Just out of coat today.

Minor Puppy Bitch Hubbles Dabrieves Silver Dynasty.Loved this Compact well marked baby Good proportions & angulation right for age .Pretty head , with correct expression.Nice coat coming in.So playful with a delightful temperament can see her having a bright future.

2 nd Farrugia Cholas Lucy Locket Lighter marked girl .Chin are supposed to be white dogs with black patches & she is.She has a pleasing head with good expression.She is nicely proportioned & well angulated .Another one with a delightful temperament.Moved out steadily with light lift desired in chin & not seen that often these days not to be confused with upright shoulder placement or a goose step seen in other toy breeds. Lovely size enough body for age very bright little lady in good coat & condition.

1st.Emmerson Auralea Wishful Thinking. Really promising quality puppy .Lovely head , with correct expression.Compact , well ribbed with good depth of chest.Level top line standing , needs to tighten up yet good proportion & angulation.Happy temperament & shows really well .BPB BPIB

2nd Davidson’s Hin Satori Runa At Sharlana. A close run thing between the first two this is also a very nice puppy with a pleasing head, good expression & is well proportioned with good body & angulation. She has a really nice coat coming in & was shown in top order.Liked her 

3 rd Allcock Sleepyhollow Coral Song.

1st Wallheads Merida Masquerade L/W A very elegant bitch , prettiest head good reach of neck , very well laid shoulder , in profile very correct chin make & shape .

Moves very stylishly & I like her a lot.

Another one who was an absolute monkey in the line up which was such a pity.

2 nd Wolfendens Bechinka Minto Attractive bitch nice head & expressionOnce again good proportions & angulation. Nice size.Moved very well.

3 rd Bank Choya Tomomi.

1st Quinn’s Sharlana Japanese Please.Here was my surprise of the day. Very attractive bitch of good proportions & angulation.Has really blossomed & come into her own. Good body ,well ribbed with correct felt of chest.Moved well enough & looked balanced & a picture standing .Excellent presentation & showmanship .Pleased to award her the RCC

2 nd Oatridge Dalehouse Kimono This Kennel always produces consistent quality & type & this one is no exception. Pleasing head , good conformation , well presented in great condition

Ist Rooney/Green. Eye catching b/w who stood out as she came into the ring,A delight to go over she has matured beautifully . Feminine pretty head with a charming expression showing just enough white of eye.She looks up at you with such a gentle melting expression on her face it would be a hard heart to resist her.

A compact cobby body with excellent angulation, well balanced ,beautiful coat shown in great condition she is one out of the top drawer.Her owners & breeders should be rightly proud of her.Absolutely love her BCC

2nd Matches Godheim Liberty Belle Very sound well put together bitch moved effortlessly as a result of her excellent construction.Pleasing cushioned head has a good expression.Lovely type that is back bone of any good kennel unlucky to meet one who just has that bit extra pizazz.Liked her .

1st Speight Bonniroy Yumiko Aka 3rd Pg Sweet girl with an appealing cushioned head .Dark eyes .Finer bone & altogether more dainty type .However well proportioned & a nice size .She gave a good account of herself standing in profile & one the move.

2 nd Cushing Bonniroy Yuzu Aka At Spiritisle Very fine bitch .happy temperament shown in good order she moved well.

1st Oatridge ‘s Dalehouse Iponema , Glamorous girl in very full coat.Attractive , cushioned head with correct expression.Under the wealth of coat she is well proportioned with good angulation .She moves very well.I would just prefer a better height to length ratio as her legs seem to disappear ,together with so much coat it is making her look unbalanced. She is however a lovely girl & was considered in the challenge for the RCC

2 nd Lyndsey’s Ch Sleepyhollow Mavis At Anjuli Another very typical appealing chin from this kennel.She has all the attributes necessary to have gained her title .A lovely shape & size with good angulation.Moves stylishly.Today She was not in the mood to play despite her handlers best efforts she remained disinterested. Her quality saw her through.
