Thank you to The Ladies Kennel Society for their invitation giving me the opportunity to award my first set of CC’s in our wonderful breed. Although I’ve awarded CC’s in another breed for ten years, I felt extremely honoured and privileged to have such a lovely entry of wonderful dogs, and thank exhibitors for graciously accepting my decisions, making my day such an enjoyable and memorable one. The standard was very high, which can only bode well for the breed, but that unfortunately meant some dogs who on another day would be placed higher, and in one or two classes wished I had a handful of red cards.  Some dogs were bothered by the shadows the lighting cast on the blue carpet and it did reflect in some of my placings, as you can only judge what is on the day. Thank you very much to my wonderful steward for her hard work.

1st: THOMPSON Mrs C Rossyn Magical Fantasy for Culverwood. Mature baby of just six months with an overall nice outline. Lovely head shape and eye showing the look of astonishment. Well-schooled for a young baby showing himself off to advantage and moving well with confidence.
2nd: BURNS Miss T Seafar Seto Although a heavier marked baby, it didn’t detract from his overall make and shape. A lovely head shape and dark eye with the look of astonishment, giving a pleasing expression. Good open nostrils. Moderate length of neck and nicely laid shoulder placement, carrying a level topline, tailset and carriage. Nice coat of correct texture. would have liked a tad more weight to complete an overall nice picture, which I am sure will come as he matures, but a very nice puppy. Moves well

1st: ROONEY, Mr S J & GREEN Mr & Mrs J A Littletigers Innuendo With Jaschin Striking puppy in super coat and condition. Attractive head with nice size eyes with enough white in the corners and well-spaced apart, and nicely cushioned muzzle giving a lovely expression. Excellent neck and shoulder placement flowing into a level topline which he kept standing and on the move. Good tail set and carriage. Moving with style and drive at the rear and having the correct amount of lift in front. I’m sure this young man will have a bright future.

1st: FARRUGIA, Mr N & FARRUGIA Mr J T Yama Ghost Rider with Cholas. Glamourous small dainty R/W carrying a good coat for his age, which was beautifully presented.  Lovely head with a pleasing eye and gentle expression. Neat compact body and good width of forechest, and overall good make and shape. Fine boned, nicely angulated hindquarters and moving well with confidence and drive.
2nd: HUBBLE, Mr D & SUMMERBELL Mr B Dabrives Silver Carrington Lovely B/W with a pleasing head and expression showing white of eye giving the desired look of astonishment. Overall good make and shape, with a moderate length of neck, and well laid shoulders. Good topline, and nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved well.

3rd: LEACH Mrs S & Mr M Omikudzi Kamelot

1st:  TARABAD Mr N Tillashby's Nick Is In A Twist At Frondil JW Stylish B/W dog who shone in this class. He is one I have admired from the day he first came into the ring. A glamorous B/W carrying a wealth of coat. The loveliest of heads and expressions with beautiful round eyes showing the correct amount of white, giving the desired look of astonishment. Well-proportioned body, short coupled and good depth & width of forechest, moderate length of neck set on well laid shoulders, giving a level topline, with a good bend of stifle, which allows him to move well and with ease around the ring. At one with his young sympathetic handler, and a serious contender for top honours.  I’m sure that will come, when he’ll be snapping at the heels of the best.   
2nd: WESTWICK, Miss S & DAVIDSON Mr A W Hin Satorie Almazniy Vihr At Sharlarna (Imp Rus). A well-coated dog with a good head and well cushioned muzzle, with round eyes showing white, framed by well set ears. Good reach of neck and carrying a level topline. Short coupled with a good spring of rib. Good depth and width of forechest, straight front and firm hindquarters. Moved well with drive.

LD (10 Entries) Abs: 1

A super class of quality dogs where there were certainly not enough prize cards and on another day places could change,  

1st: FORTH, Ms A & DAVIDSON Mr A Tillasby Samurai Sun at Sharlana. Heading this strong class. A small glamorous dog, who’s profuse coat of correct texture is in excellent condition and is impeccably presented.  Beautiful rounded head with large nose and open nostrils, lovely round eyes showing a small amount of white framed by beautifully long feathered ears, set correctly. Moderate length of neck and well laid shoulders with level topline and correct tailset and carriage. Cobby body and wide chest.  Fine boned and hair feet. Once he settled was able to pull it out the bag to win this strong class. A super boy, who I am sure has a bright future.

2nd: THOMAS Ms J Javalcy The Great Mikado. Another straight from the top draw, and unfortunate for him to meet 1.  Small quality B/W dog, Square and compact. Nicely rounded skull with the loveliest of eyes set well apart giving and alert but gentle expression. Moderate length of neck, with well laid shoulders. Moderate width & depth of forechest and spring of rib. Fine bone and kept his level topline standing and on the move. I am sure he will change places with winner many times and will also have a very bright future.  
 3rd WESTWICK Miss S & DAVIDSON Mr A Sharlarna Tyson.
 

OD (8 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: PEARCE, Ms T & HANN Ms S Ch Rakuchin Kenji Na Heading a strong class. Difficult to say something about this dog which hasn’t already been said about this  B/W boy who is very worthy of his title and confidently showing at one with his handler. Underneath the wealth of silky coat frames a small neat package, who is well put together giving a pleasing picture. Outline in profile just flows from the tip of his nose to end of a well set and carried tail. Moved well with verve and drive and delighted to award him the CC.

2nd: REEVES-SARGANT, Mrs C & DIMENT Mrs S Alstella Pure Gold. A dog I have liked since having the opportunity of judging as a six month old puppy. Promising then and improving with maturity. S/W with the richest of colouring. Masculine head framed by well feathered ears, well cushioned muzzle and good width of under jaw with dark round eyes showing the right amount of white giving the correct look of astonishment. Good depth and width of forechest with tight elbows and straight front. Level topline with tail set well on and carrying tight over his back. Good bend of stifle and well let down hocks, with correct hair feet. Moved well and with drive. Pleased to award him the Res CC. I am sure he will have his day.

Class 1619 GCD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: MCFARLANE Mrs & Miss J E & L Myojo Morgan At Glendyke. Alone in his class, but nevertheless a lovely boy who is nicely made throughout. Nice head with a broad skull and eyes with moderate length of neck and good topline. Good width of forechest and spring of rib. Short coupled with a good tail set and carried tightly over back. Good firm hindquarters, enabling him to move out well both ways, certainly keeping his handler on her toes covering the ground with ease and speed.

1st: REEVES-SARGANT, Mrs C & DIMENT Mrs S Hin Satori Cherry Blossom Alstella Naf Taf (Imp) Very promising, smart S/W baby who owned the ring, showing herself off to advantage. Well put together with a very pretty head and correct eyes. Moderate length of neck with a good shoulder placement, and nice straight topline, carrying a well set and tight tail, good width of chest and fine strong bone. Nicely angulated rear and moving positively for such a youngster.
2nd: HINE Miss L Swifthocks La Bella (Aw4) Smaller B/W with lots to like. Pretty baby, with a lovely head and nice rounded skull and enough cushioning on her muzzle for her age, and nice eyes. Very feminine with lovely coat coming in. Once she realised what was expected of her moved well.
3rd: CUSHING Mrs J Ennistar's Niagara At Spiritisle (Imp)
 

PB (8 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: DAVIDSON Mr A W Sharlarna Booty Call. Stunning B/W puppy who demands attention from the outset. Stylish, with the most exquisite head and expression and dark expressive eyes with the correct amount of white in the inner corners, rounded skull with moderate length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders and a good width of chest. Well sprung ribs and short loin. Spirit level toppline and correct tail set and carriage, nicely angulated firm rear which she uses to her advantage striding out with verve and drive. I was delighted to award her the CC and I am sure her crown will soon be attained. I was pleased to see her go G4 especially under an eminent breed judge in a very strong group, which she more than held her own.
2nd: WALLHEAD Mrs J Merida Marianna. Lovely B/W. Different in type to 1.  A quality girl who has a good overall shape. Pretty head, with well-set ears. Nicely cushioned muzzle and well open nostrils, nice eyes. A moderate length of neck and good lay of shoulder keeping her level topline throughout and moving well.

JB (11 Entries) Abs: 5
1st: QUINN Mrs T A & Mr A M Harlouville Uptown Girl. Well coated Small compact B/W with a pretty head, and correct ear placement framing a nicely cushioned muzzle under her lovely expressive eyes. Moderate length of neck with good width of forechest and straight front and tight elbows. Good spring of rib and level topline and well-set tail carried firmly over her back. Nicely angulated hindquarters with firm muscle, who is obviously suited to a large ring which enables her to cover the ground well and with plenty of drive. A young lady to watch who I’m sure will have a bright future in front of her and will trouble the best.  Considered for higher honours.

2nd: BROWN-PERCIVAL Mrs S Littletigers Grace By Sandiman (Imp) It. Another Pretty Feminine B/W with a melting expression, beautiful eyes and good placement, of nice size, carrying a silky well marked coat. Good neck and shoulders and a spirit level topline with a highset tail carried well. Fine bone with a good straight front and moderate width of forechest, nicely angulated hindquarters and moving well. Another young lady straight from the top draw and one to be proud of.
3rd: HUBBLE, Mr D & SUMMERBELL Mr B Dabrives Silver Dynasty

1st: EMMERSON Mrs M Ennistar's Zlata Knyazhna For Hin Satory At Sharlana. Loved this little S/W girl who is small and compact and nicely made throughout with everything in a neat little package. She has the prettiest of heads and expression, with large dark eyes showing just the right amount of white. Moves positively with a sassy little attitude demanding attention.
2nd: CURTIS Mrs G Aleemai A Million Dreams. Pretty little B/W girl of similar size to class winner. Fine & dainty, and nicely made, just needs to be more positive on the table, but on the move covers the ground well and shows herself off to better advantage.
3rd: PEARSON Ms I Ereste Naughty But Nice

1st: DAVIDSON Mr A W Hin Satori Runa At Sharlarna (Imp Rus) Exquisite head with open nostrils and expressive dark eyes, showing the desired white in the corners, all framed by well feathered ears. Under her wealth of beautifully presented silky coat is a neatly made feminine girl with everything in the right place, well angulated fine bone and hair feet.  Moved with style.
2nd: WALLHEAD Mrs J Merida Masquerade. Lovely R/W coming into her own, and since the last time I saw her has matured well. A very pretty headed girl with lovely eyes giving a gentle expression. Well set ears, with a moderate length of neck and nicely made throughout. Elegant and stylish keeping a level topline at all times. Nicely angulated rear end, moving well around the ring.
3rd: FORTH Ms A Omegaville Ima Showgirl

1st: ROONEY, Mr S J & GREEN Mr & Mrs J A Ch Swifthocks Paws For Thought. What a super young lady this has been for her owners. Always giving her best and showing herself off to her advantage, and today was no exception. Glamorous in head with a melting expression, open nostrils and well cushioned muzzle, with a dark round eye showing the right amount of white in the corners, rounded skull framed by well-set ears. With her coat just beginning to come in nicely, she has nothing to hide on her well-constructed body. Strong movement making the most of the large ring with confidence and drive. Delighted to award her the Res. CC
2nd: LINDSAY Miss L Ch Sleepyhollow Mavis At Anjuli JW Pretty little madam with attitude, who I was honoured to be allowed to go over whilst giving me a wry sideways glance with her gorgeous eyes just making sure I knew exactly that I was being tolerated. But that said under her wealth of glamourous coat was a nicely constructed young lady with a moderate reach of neck and well laid shoulders flowing into her level topline and well-set tail. Good width of forechest and well sprung ribs and nicely angulated firm hindquarters. Moving with ease around the ring        

3rd: OATRIDGE Mrs CM Ch. Dalehouse Iponema

 Three young ladies of quality who are all worthy of a first place. It is always one class I love judging, but hate having to split hairs and always brings a lump to my throat when seeing the oldies enjoying their day out.
1st: PEARCE, Ms T & HANN Ms S Choya Takara Of Rakuchin B/W on excellent form who belies her age, Well marked with a pretty head and well cushioned muzzle and broad skull. Good overall make and shape. Can still move out with energy and drive. Her handler informed me that this is her swansong and what a lovely way to end her show career>>> Enjoy your retirement little lady.
2nd: REEVES-SARGANT, Mrs C & DIMENT Mrs S Alstella Going for Gold. Beautiful S/W girl with a pretty head and lovely expression, rounded skull and nicely placed ears with plenty of feathering. Lovely expressive eyes showing a small amount of white. Moderate neck and good overall make and shape being short and cobby with a good width of forechest . Straight front.  Fine boned and good turn of stifle. Moved well,
