I would like to thank the officers & committee for inviting me to judge, my efficient two stewards & to the exhibitors for a superb entry of quality dogs. Some good dogs had to go home cardless & breed type had to be my deciding factor.

PD (12,4a) 1 Banks’ Choya Masuyo, a promising b/w, 6 months, pleasing head with dark eyes, open nostrils with wide, well cushioned muzzle, firm level jaw, compact & so well balanced, moved & showed so well with super topline & tail carriage, will watch his progress; 2 Pearce & Hann’s Rakuchin Concerto, b/w, far more mature, with large head & broad skull, width to muzzle, moderate neck, strong fine bone, well bodied, a stylish mover, just preferred the cobbiness of winner; 3 Paradise’s Shardlow Oshkosh B’Gosh. JD (6,4) 1 Vincent’s Yama Jimmy Choo, b/w, full of breed type & quality, broad head, short well cushioned muzzle, lovely dark eye, straight forelegs, well developed body, well bent stifles, hare feet, coat of silky texture & maturing nicely, wasn’t moving his best today; 2 O’Brien’s Ouzlewell’s Akihiko at Nachi, larger b/w, pleasing head with dark eye & open nostrils, ample bone, well marked, slightly longer than 1 & was paddling in front today. PGD (13,3) 1 Matches’ Godheim Stars And Stripes at Fochai, what a quality little b/w this is, dainty throughout & sound as a bell, typical head which was large for size, compact body with super topline, high set tail, moved out with style, not in his best clothes, but still deserved his win; 2 Moss’ Queenslake Billy Bongo of Delphlands, nicely marked b/w, pleasing head, elegant little chap with good outline, compact body, moved with a straight action with sound hindquarters; 3 Smith’s Sidlyn Whisper Of The Wind. OD(13,3) 1 Allcock’s Sleepyhollow Robson, an outstanding well marked b/w, full of breed type, head in no way exaggerated, large for his size, lovely eyes with just the right amount of white, open nostrils & perfect level jaw, moderate neck, enough covering on a level compact body, the best mover of the day with good reach. Coat was profuse, long & felt like silk which was presented to perfection. BD & BOB & delighted he went on to win G4; 2 George’s Yama I’m Kimi Amronchi, another quality b/w male, a half brother to winner of similar type on a slightly larger scale, large head which was broad & rounded, lovely eyes, straight forelegs, level topline & well angulated hindquarters, in lovely condition & superbly prepared, very stylish & sound. RBD; 3 Davidson’s Ch Hysterical Samurai Sou at Sharlarna.

PB (7,2) 1 Allcock’s Sleepyhollow Mimi, wish this pretty feminine b/w bitch was mine, sweetest of heads with excellent proportions, very smart in outline with compact body, ideal size, strong fine bone throughout, another stylish mover with good reach & enjoying her day. Immaculately presented & completely caught my eye. BP & went on to win PG1; 2 Crane’s Sleepyhollow Mary Poppins, what a litter, sister to winner & very much of a type, sweet head with good head carriage, perfect topline, smart outline, just not quite as developed yet as winner, but will with time; 3 Banks’ Choya Miyako. JB (16,4) 1 Oatridge’s Sleepyhollow Tea For Two, b/w who caught my eye as she entered the ring, lively girl & full of ring presence, had no idea this was the sister to my BOB, stronger throughout with appealing head, compact body with super topline & correct tail carriage, well marked & in coat of lovely silky texture, one with good reach & elevation; 2 Matches’ Godheim Charlotte at Fochai, b/w, pleasing head with the darkest of eyes, very compact with level topline, excellent angulation, moved out well with style, I liked her a lot & not disgraced here; 3 Allcock’s Sleepyhollow Maggie May. PGB(7,2) 1 Wallhead’s Sleepyhollow Tikle My Fancy at Merida, another feminine b/w, small & dainty, very compact body, sound in front, level topline, well marked, good hare feet, moved well; 2 Whitehouse’s Cheekychins Esme for Denain, larger b/w, quality head & eyes, hare feet, well bodied & level topline. In profuse coat & moved soundly; 3 Paradise’s Shardlow Yum Yum. OB (7,1) 1 Oatridge’s Ch Dalehouse Crystal Tips, a b/w who possesses breed type, my type of head that was well cushioned, perfect eyes with the desired look of astonishment, strong fine bone throughout, enough body covering with perfect topline, looked good standing & moving, in super coat which was well presented, could not deny her BB; 2 Crane’s Sidlyn Wind Of Change with Cranvarl, another b/w from the top drawer, pushed the winner hard, pleasing head with good eyes, nicely marked, well put together, super topline & tail carriage, not in full coat today, hope she gets her 3rd CC. RBB; 3 Wallhead & Allcock’s Kochou’s Rita-Haywooth Sleepyhollow.
