I would like to thank the Japanese Chin Club for the opportunity of judging the Breed Club Open Show. The show was very well run and I was well supported by my efficient steward which enabled me to really enjoy my day. I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entries, with only twelve absentees. The quality in some classes was excellent and difficult decisions had to be made. On the downside I did find a number of flecked coats and exhibits with light eyes, however, I am encouraged about the future of our breed as there are some quality youngsters for the future
