The Japanese Chin Club held an open show where BIS was Ch Sleepyhollow Oliver at Dekobras; RBIS, Jonsville Oriania Dainichi; & BP, Yama I’m Katu.

Sincere thanks to the officers, committee, membership & competitors for the privilege of judging this breed show, a thoroughly enjoyable day.

1 RBD, BV, Thomas’ Lanceian Pleasant Ailira at Javalcy, elegant male, good sweep of underjaw, long silky coat, elegant frame, well angled hindquarters, hare feet, moved out well with straight fluid motion; 2 Goldie’s Samchin Artemis; 3 Boyer’s Amronchi Magic Dust at Ellinghurst. MPD 1 Rhodes & Vincent’s Javalcy Bit Of A Razzle Dazzle, pleasing in head shape with fair cushioning on muzzle, round dark eyes, shade long in back at this stage of development, good tailset & carriage; 2 Mountcastle’s Holmchin Gorgeous George; 3 Thomas’ Javalcy Nik Nak Paddywack. PD 1 BPD, Jolley’s Sharlarna’s Tailor Made for Dekobras, good width of skull & jaw, straight front, cobby outline, good tailset & carriage, moved out well; 2 George’s Yama I’m Kimi Amronchi; 3 Branch’s Phydeaux Blue Moon. JD 1 Tong’s Dalehouse Elements of Elgar Jakconas, quite a large boy, good head shape with dark eyes & good width of jaw, straight front, good tailset, moved true & carried tail well; 2 Mowatt’s Asmena Akio; 3 Pearson’s Arranbrook Dashin Debonair Ereste.ND 1 Nishigaki’s Charnell Kosi at Utsukushi, moderate skull, a little pale in eye colour, neat ears set well, good turn of stifle, moved out well. PGD 1 Godbehere’s Charnell Kenji at Tillashby, shade long cast, good for head shape & earset, round dark eyes, good sweep to underjaw, straight front, good tailset, moved true; 2 Russell’s Sansarc Shisiedo of Alnesaire; 3 C Kosi at U. LD 1 Willis’ Dainichi Sunyawo, lovely head & expression, neat ears set on high, cobby outline, straight front, level back, well turned stifles, moved out stylishly; 2 Vincent’s Yama Jeremy Sleepyhollow; 3 Farmer’s Sangria Celebrity.OD 1 Pearce & Hann’s Choya Kanji Na with Rakuchin, good head shape with dark eyes & sweep of underjaw of good width, moderate in neck, quite square in outline, good tailset & carriage, moved true. R/w D 1 BD, BIS, Jolley’s Ch Sleepyhollow Oliver at Dekobras, balanced broad head with wide jaws, neat earset on high, cobby body with finely boned limbs, hare feet, moved out with a delicate free flowing stride; 2 Thomas’ Javalcy Call Me Mr Chivers; 3 Best R/W Puppy, Nishigaki’s Utsukushi Mandarin Chaos. Phil Lewis Memorial Rescue Special – ND 1 Gilhespy’s Sharlarna’s Etsuko, gassy little girl, feminine in head & expression, good width of jaws, good spring of ribs, high tailset, carried well, moved out briskly; 2 Goldie’s Arranbrooke Yoionna.

MPB 1 Thomas’ Javalcy Devilish Cool Dixie, balanced headpiece with dark eyes, shade long in the back at this stage of development, well angled hindquarters with good sweep to stifles, moved lightly & true. PB 1 BPB, BP, Vincent’s Yama I’m Katu, lovely puppy, broad head with dark eyes, good width of jaw & well cushioned, square outline, finely boned, high tailset , moved out with such grace & style, thought her quite enchanting; 2 Nishigaki’s Utsukushi Mandarin Chaos; 3 Russell’s Sansarc Lillianna of Alnesaire. JB 1 Mowatt’s Asmena Hatsu, pretty girl with the darkest of eyes, pleasing headpiece, moderate neck into square body, straight front, well angled hind, quite stylish on the move; 2 Crane’s Sidlyn Wind of Change for Cranvarl; 3 U Mandarin Chaos. NB 1 Y I’m Katu; 2 S Wind Of Change for C; 3 U Mandarin Chaos. PGB 1 Mowatt’s Asmena Hatsuko, completely unsettled by the proceedings sadly, but such a lovely girl, broad skull with good width to jaws, neat ears set high, straight front with square body, hope she settles; 2 A Yoionna. LB 1 BB, RBIS, Willis’ Jonsville Oriania Dainichi, broad skull with strong sweep of underjaw of correct width, moderate neck into long shoulders & cobby bodyshape, straight front with fine bone, good tailset, moved out with light footfall & good length of stride; 2 Jolley’s Sharlarna’s Dancing Queen at Dekobras; 3 Mountcastle’s Rakuchin Amazing Grace of Holmchin. OB 1 Goldie’s Godheim Fire Opal, broad skull with lovely width of jaws, dark eyes, quite square in outline, well held topline, hare feet, moved out & back quite neatly.
