MPD (4) 1 Matches’ Godheim Imperial Wizard, 6 months b/w baby of great quality, beautiful head with typical eye & expression, firm underjaw. Just needs a little more muzzle cushioning. Fine sound bone, compact firm body with correct angulation, moved steadily up & down & typically in profile, showed with confidence & has much promise. BP; 2 Allcock & Vincent’s Yama Jeremy Sleepyhollow, from the start this 8 months b/w probably looked the winner as he is much more forward in coat & has more general finish, excellent eye & expression, well cushioned muzzle but rather weak in underjaw. Very solidly bodied, but longer coupled than 1 & not so steady going away. But he has great ring presence & was beautifully presented; 3 Jolley’s Elisamay Masaru. PD (3) 1 Swanston’s Arranbrook Mr Miyage of Pamojill, 9 months b/w of quality, cobby & essentially typical, lovely head type with typical eye & expression, firm underjaw & well placed nose. A little weak in pastern so he tends to stand close in front & needs to body up considerably as he feels rather ribby on the table. Quality coat, moves with some style; 2 Hine’s Sleepyhollow Amadeus, 7½ months b/w with not quite the eye & expression of 1 & even less well bodied. Has a certain refinement about him, but on the move his topline was nothing like as settled as 1; 3 Jackson’s Tianshih Ressik Kataan. JD (5) An interesting class. 1 Farmer’s Sangria Celebrity, 14 months b/w of high quality, dainty & all of a piece, typical eye. Nose pigment needs to strengthen & he is rather weak in underjaw. Nicely bodied, cobby & balanced, well ribbed & quality coat, however it is on the move where he scores as be holds himself together perfectly & goes with such style & lightness of foot, presents a very impressive overall picture of type & quality; 2 McLeod’s Rossyn Hikaru at Dunline, 14 months b/w who mentally was my winner for quite a while as I prefer his head details to 1, however when they moved he tended to string out a little & look less ‘together’ & not as cobby as 1. That said, he is a sound & steady mover & will I am sure look better when fully bodied up & more mature; 3 Banks’ Choya Kiosha. PGD (7) 1 Allcock & Hampton’s Bonniroy Yasebai Sleepyhollow, although he could be steadier moving up & down I just adored the type, size & overall quality of this little b/w dog. Very pleasing facial details with type yet no exaggeration & his expression is quite beautiful, on the table he is amazingly well ribbed & bodied & his main asset his overall cobbiness, in beautiful bloom, showing well. RCC; 2 Farmer’s Sangria Paparazzi, not the beautiful head details of 1 or as well ribbed but this b/w moves smartly, possibly a little truer up & down than 1, & holds himself well but a little longer coupled than 1; 3 Parry’s Sidlyn Gone With The Wind to Gwynsias. LD (10) A frustrating class. 1 Graham & Spavin Harrison’s Hysterical Shogun Coco, very typy b/w with an excellent head but a slightly darker eye would help the expression. Excellent to go over on the table being well boned & ribbed, but he could be shorter coupled. Moved soundly & has some style; 2 Thomas’ Javalcy Call Me Mr, r/w in beautiful bloom & with a look of quality, pleasing head type but smaller eye than 1. Solidly bodied, basically well constructed but again a little longer than ideal & not the general cobbiness of 1. Moved steadily & with an air of self possession; 3 Flynn & Van Baaren-Grob’s Homerbrent Yuumei Na. OD (8) 1 Banks’ Ch Homerbrent Kotaishi of Choya, this b/w looked the finished article & won on his beautiful outline, shape & balance. Beautiful head type with pleasing expression when aroused, good overall construction, in beautiful bloom. Could carry a little more body weight. Moves steadily. CC & BOB; 2 Carter-Davidson’s Hysterical Samurai Sou at Shalarna, lovely quality b/w with pleasing head type but a little lighter in eye than 1. Well bodied. Not quite as cobby as 1, but light on his feet & moved smartly; 3 Mcleod’s Sleepyhollow Knight & Day at Dunline.

MPB (4) 1 Allcock’s Yama Josie Sleepyhollow, 7 months b/w full of quality & feminine charm, beautiful head, eye & expression, already well bodied & ribbed & fundamentally cobby, beautifully presented, moves quite soundly. Just needs that little extra confidence; 2 Whitehouse’s Cheekychins Esme, 6 months b/w rather more rangy than 1 & longer coupled but very well constructed. Prettiest of heads with typical expression, moves stylishly in profile. Just needs to pull her front together. Lots of quality & promise; 3 Willis’ Jonsville Oriana Dainichi. PB (4) 1 Thomas’ Javalcy Because I’m Worth It, 9 months b/w, lovely head, full of quality & expression, very well bodied & good to go over, in reality she is shorter coupled & cobbier than she looks going around, moves very well up & down, beautifully presented; 2 Jolley’s Shalarna’s Dancing Queen at Dekobras, 10 months b/w of quality, feminine head, nicely bodied but a little longer coupled than 1 & not using her tail quite so effectively. Moves quite soundly; 3 Powell’s Pochinka Pit Pat Polka. JB (5) 1 Paradise’s Shardlow Knickerbocka Glory, 13 months b/w, so cobby & solid, lovely head type, full of expression. Cosmetically a black spot on her foot is not attractive, but it’s not worth spoiling the ship for a ha’porth of tar. Very full of herself, but when she settled moved stylishly & true; 2 Banks’ Choya Kamiko, 14 months b/w but looked much more raw. Quality head & expression, excellent overall construction. Just needs to fill out her frame, but she moved nicely & held herself well; 3 Flynn’s Linjato Amaya. PGB (5) 1 Brown’s Yama Miss Dior at Rossvale, stand out winner here for her cobbiness & type. Gorgeous real Japanese head & expression, straight front, good width of chest, very well ribbed & almost carrying too much body weight. Sound & stylish mover, absolutely radiates breed type. Won what was her apparently her second, CC but could not match the coat & general finish of the male for BOB; 2 S Knickerbocka Glory; 3 Wallhead’s Fralee Elsie. LB (4) 1 Mason’s Sleepyhollow La Calista, b/w bitch with substance yet also quality, very pleasing expression, solid body, nicely put together. Sound enough, but could just be a little lighter on her feet. Not quite as intrinsically feminine as the CC & RCC winners but the sort of bitch to breed something good; 2 Doyle’s Queenslake Giggle N Wiggle at Mattadam, b/w with large expressive eyes that could be a shade darker but she still had excellent head type. A little neckier, longer & more streamlined than 1, but a sound & steady mover; 3 Allcock, Lindsay & Pipe’s Sleepyhollow Sapphire Diva at Anjuli. OB (6) 1 Spavin Harrison’s Ch Nisyros Chindy Lauper Sings Sholeen, b/w who won the class easily on the go around as she is cobby, all of a piece, sound & stylish, in lovely nick & has a beautiful & totally typical outline. I just wish she had a larger eye & more expression. Still her many qualities well deserved the RCC; 2 Basing’s Arranbrook Silver Sequins, b/w who pleased me more in eye though it could be darker. Balanced outline, excellent size & shape, but rather short ribbed & not the body of 1; 3 Steele’s Javalcy China Doll at Threadgold.
