-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I was honoured to be asked to judge the Chins at Manchester. It was a long day as we didn't get in to the ring until just before 4pm. The long wait was too much for some exhibits and caused a variety of mischievous reactions in the puppies. It was a good quality entry and difficult decisions had to be made, but I thoroughly enjoyed my judging.
Whilst health is a number one priority the breed standard and purpose of the dog should not be forgotten. Most Toy Dogs were bred to be ladies companions and comforters, accordingly they should be beautiful to look at and have appealing faces.
